While I was perusing the Free People website for the shoe pick from Tuesday, I came across this camera strap. I love taking photos but I am by no means a photographer. Nowadays I don’t even bring my nice camera on trips because my iPhone camera takes such great photos. However, if I were going … Read More about Family Friday: Le Pom Pom Camera Strap
Organizing Thursday: Soda Can Organizer with Shelf
Seltzer is having a moment. Maybe it’s the popularity of La Croix, but I am seeing tons more choices for bubbly flavored waters when I go to the deli or Target or Whole Foods. I love drinking Diet Coke at restaurants but do not keep it in my home. To get my carbonation fix, I … Read More about Organizing Thursday: Soda Can Organizer with Shelf
Nursing/Postpartum Tuesday: Newborn Lounger
A few products that truly saved me during the newborn days were the Fisher-Price Rock ’n Play, the Fisher-Price swing, and this: the Boppy Lounger. When my son was mobile enough to start rolling, I think I shed a tear when it went to the back of my closet. I think my most googled phrases … Read More about Nursing/Postpartum Tuesday: Newborn Lounger
Family Friday: 18” Kids’ Suitcase
This kids’ suitcase is the product of a collaboration between Target and blogger Naomi Davis, who writes about her family’s life at love Taza. They have three kids (and twin newborns!) and they often travel as a family, which is well documented on their blog. It makes sense then that they would collaborate to make … Read More about Family Friday: 18” Kids’ Suitcase
Family Friday: Full Zip Rash Guard
My son received this as a gift and just wore it for the first time last weekend. I am here to sing its praises. I don’t think there has been a time when my child has not screamed when I have tried to put a shirt over his head. It’s worse with rash guards because … Read More about Family Friday: Full Zip Rash Guard
Organizing Thursday: Trofast Storage
When my son was a newborn, I was totally convinced we weren’t going to be those people whose child takes over their house. Now that he’s a toddler, it’s fully happened and I’ve given up trying to stop the inevitable — there are toys and various child-related products everywhere. Right now I’m considering my storage … Read More about Organizing Thursday: Trofast Storage
Family Friday: Temperature Control Ceramic Mug
I laughed when I first saw that this product existed — mostly because I will literally drink any type of coffee at anytime, anywhere. I’m not picky. However, I know there are those of us who truly care about having a great cup of coffee, and one of the most common gripes about having kids … Read More about Family Friday: Temperature Control Ceramic Mug
Family Friday: Fancy Sprinkles
Here’s another pick that I found when going down the Instagram rabbit hole. Apparently, Jack Osbourne’s (son of Ozzy and Sharon) soon-to-be-former wife, Lisa, has an online sprinkle company. When I clicked the link in her bio, I had no idea what to expect from a company named “Fancy Sprinkles.” Well! Indeed they are very … Read More about Family Friday: Fancy Sprinkles
Family Friday: Nalda Sandal
I saw these shoes in person and made a beeline for them. They check all the boxes for what I’m looking for in a summer sandal — open toe but without the toe thong (yes, I had to google sandal terminology), a slight block heel, and a strap around the ankle to keep it from … Read More about Family Friday: Nalda Sandal
Family Friday: Perplexus Original Interactive Maze Game
When my husband and I were at a holiday party a few years back, one of the kids in attendance was gifted this game. It was passed around the room, and after we each took a turn we immediately went to our phones and ordered the game for ourselves. This toy is basically a 3-D … Read More about Family Friday: Perplexus Original Interactive Maze Game
Family Friday: SoftSip Food Pouch Top
If you don’t have any use for these, then your child has way better dexterity/self-control than mine! The minute I would hand my son a pouch, he would promptly squeeze the entire thing all over his face or shirt. I like these for several reasons — your child can’t squeeze the puree out without biting … Read More about Family Friday: SoftSip Food Pouch Top
Organizing Thursday: Baby Briefcase Paperwork Organizer
There’s a lot of paperwork that comes with having a baby: hospital discharge forms, insurance documentation, baby registry details, etc. In my post-birth haze, I was very happy that I received this Baby Briefcase as a gift. There was no way I would have been able to keep track of all of the loose paperwork related to my son if I didn’t have an easy place to stash it. Inside, there are several folders with pre-made tabs in every type of category you can think of. Now that my husband and I are out of the weeds, we don’t have to use it that frequently, but when we need to locate any important document, we know just where to look. The organizer is $28 at Amazon.
