Washable Wednesday: Drape Front V-Neck Top

Three Dots Drape Front V Neck Top Neiman Marcus is having some crazy sales right now — lots of nice brands marked down to mall store prices. This draped V-neck top doesn’t explicitly say it’s machine washable, but I’d be shocked if it weren’t — all of my Three Dots jersey pieces are. They’re soft and just a bit more lux than regular jersey. I like the two colors it’s offered in (plum and black), and I like the sale: the blouse was $98, but is now marked to $32. Update: Note the crazy flash sale at Carter’s, with an extra 40% off clearance prices. I just bought a few things for the boys and had that rare thought right after I did the final click on the order: I shoulda bought more.

Washable Wednesday: Straight Leg Trousers

NYDJ Stretch Straight Leg TrousersLadies, what are your favorite brands for washable trousers? I always used to like the Gap washable trousers, but online the reviews suggest that they’re really hit or miss of late. These NYDJ stretch trousers are very highly rated, but mostly by older women — but then that is their demographic (NYDJ does stand for “not your daughter’s jeans,” after all). They’re $120, and were available in three colors but are sold out in everything except the black, which I take as a good sign. They’re available in regular sizes 0-14, and petite sizes 00P-18P. Maternity Monday: Slash Neck Skater Dress with Belt

ASOS Maternity Slash Neck Skater Dress with Belt | CorporetteI’ve long admired this simple maternity dress from ASOS — it looks grown up and flattering, but fun and versatile. And the fact that it’s $53.06 doesn’t hurt. The black seems to be sold out right now, but it’s still available in this light blue/orange belt combo, as well as a rust orange/cobalt belt combo. It’s $53.06. ASOS Maternity Slash Neck Skater Dress with Belt

(Actually: it comes in a lot of colors, as well as different sleeve styles, some marked as low as $17.  Nice!)

Finally Friday: PrimaLoft Packable Jacket

Lands' End PrimaLoft Packable Jacket | CorporetteMomsOK, guys: I finally caved and bought a washable winter coat. And I must say: it’s SUPER warm. Like, warmer than my nice wool/cashmere coat, even though this one doesn’t cover my thighs. It’s on deep discount, it’s a bright color (I got the fuschia, pictured, and it’s a lovely, deep magenta), AND it’s packable and not too bulky. Score. It was $89, but is now marked to $49 at Lands’ End, available in regular, petite, tall, and plus sizes. Lands’ End PrimaLoft Packable Jacket

Update: Today Amazon is offering the kids’ version of the Orbo Jr. 4GB Android 4.1 Five Point Multi Touch Tablet PC — it has pretty good reviews — for just $47.95.

Washable Wednesday: Etsuko Dress

MM.LaFleur Etsuko Dress | CorporetteMomsAs I noted yesterday on Corporette: I was really excited to work with the brand MM.LaFleur, in part because they make a TON of machine-washable workwear — and it’s apparent from the shopping pages, not just the product pages. It baffles me why stores don’t adopt a “machine wash” filter, since I think there is a strong preference for a lot of people one way or the other. In any event: I loved all of the MM.LaFleur dresses I tried on, but I thought this plum Etsuko dress was particularly lovely. The pockets were unobtrusive, the fabric felt polished and luxurious, and I was ultimately really surprised to find that it was machine washable. It’s available in three colors for $195.
