Machine-Washable Work Clothes

Looking for machine-washable work clothes? Every Wednesday we include a wear-it-to-work recommendation that is machine washable -- you can see our most recent picks below. Don't miss some of our bigger articles on this topic, though, including:

Pumping Tuesday: Bay’s Nursing Scarf

Bay's Nursing Scarf | CorporetteMomsI recently came across an article that advised pumping moms to bring their nursing covers to work to use as a pumping cover as well — it hadn’t occurred to me but I think it’s great advice. I like the listed reason (that you can have friends in your office to maximize the time without making anyone uncomfortable), but I’ve also seen enough readers trying to figure out how to pump in an office without a lock on the door to think that this might be a great solution. There are a ton of nursing covers on the market, but many have unappealing prints (and don’t get me started on the company names). I like this simple, easy black one from Designs by Bay — it’s available at Amazon for $18.99. Bay’s Nursing Scarf

Washable Wednesday: Short Sleeve Wool Dress

Lands' End Short Sleeve Washable Wool Dress | CorporetteMomsLands’ End has so many washable dresses, but this washable wool dress looks great — sleek and elegant. I like the pockets, and although I’m generally not a fan of the self belt, I like the way they’ve styled it here. (I’d still probably swap it out for my own belt, but there you go.) It’s $95, available in regular sizes 4-18 and petite sizes 00-16. Lands’ End Short Sleeve Washable Wool Dress

Everyone Thursday: Front Zip Blazer

Mossimo Front Zip BlazerMoto jackets are everywhere this season, and I like this affordable, machine washable version from Mossimo.  This beigey grey looks lovely, but it also comes in peach, black, and stripes.  It’s $34.99. Mossimo Front Zip Blazer

Washable Wednesday: Henrietta Dress

Henrietta DressBoden has a number of machine washable, pumping friendly wrap dresses right now — particularly if you prefer the Freemie style of pumping. This Henrietta dress is marked down, but I also like this wrap dress. All of the fun patterns are not only bright and happy, but they’re also great for hiding stains, whether it’s a drop of milk from a leaky bottle on your dress… to another kind of leak. The pictured dress is $44-$74 (down from $148), available at Boden. Henrietta Dress

Washable Wednesday: Silk Pintuck Blouse

Talbots Washable Silk Pintuck Blouse | CorporetteThis washable silk blouse from Talbots looks promising — I like the four colors it comes in, the pintucks in the front, the roll sleeves, and the half-placket.  I also love that it’s on sale: it was $99, but is now marked to $55. It’s available in regular, petite, plus, and plus-size petite sizes.  Washable Silk Pintuck Blouse

Maternity Monday: Ruched Tee

Liz Lange for Target Maternity Ruched Tee | CorporetteMomsI may have had this very top, bought for my first pregnancy with Jack. I remember being disappointed in it — maternity Ts are all disappointing until you really start to show — but I will say, I wore that thing into the ground as a pajama and workout top, as well as a basic while pregnant with both boys. Not bad for a $15 top. This one comes in seven colors, sizes XS-XXL, at Target. Liz Lange for Target Maternity Ruched Tee
