Finally Friday: Raccia Pumps

Vince Camuto Raccia Let’s be honest here, ladies: it’s November and it’s miserable. I have a feeling it’s going to be a long, cold, dark winter, bundled into whatever warm, snow-stomp-worthy boots you can find. So I say: great, focus on warmth with your outside gear. And then, change into these little babies when you get to the office. They’re classic but trendy, and would work for just about any occasion. They’re $98 at Zappos, available in sizes 5.5-11. Psst: This may be the winter I finally break down and get some serious snow boots.  Anyone have any favorites?

Everyone Thursday: Cashmere Cardigan

Lord & Taylor Cashmere Cardigan | CorporetteMomsIf the weather this week is any indication, it’s going to be a c-o-l-d winter, ladies. While cashmere can seem tough to care for around kiddos, there’s no reason you can’t keep a luxe cashmere cardigan at the office or for after the kids go to bed (or, hey, just machine wash in Woolite if sticky little hands do get ahold of it). I like the look of this big, cozy cardigan from Lord & Taylor, available in four colors, sizes XS-XL (also in plus sizes and, allegedly, petites, although I can’t seem to grab a direct link…). L&T was mentioned by readers as being some of the best cashmere in previous discussions over at Corporette, and they’re having a big cashmere sale now. The cardigan was $268, but is now marked to $160. Lord & Taylor Cashmere Cardigan

Finally Friday: Evatex Packing Cubes

Evatex Packing CubesI don’t know how traveling with kids is for YOU guys, but for us, the packing equation has totally changed… because my toddler gets the majority of the space! We bring: all of his outfits (I like to travel with at least 3-4 complete outfits, no matter how short the trip, in case of messy eating/play, or of course, bathroom accidents) … his teddy… his blanket…  it’s kind of ridiculous. These packing cubes look like they would at LEAST help us keep our stuff separate and well defined. I like the variety of colors offered, and the deep discount: they were $89, but are now marked to $25 (and eligible for Prime). Evatex Packing Cubes

Psst — I’ve mentioned that I draw what I want to pack before, but I swear by it now that I’m usually the one packing for the entire family.

Everyone Thursday: Asymmetric Acrylic Bar Pendant

Asymmetric Acrylic Bar PendantIt’s hard to beat BaubleBar right now for personalized gifts — from prices to selection, they have a TON of great stuff. I constantly wear my Maya Brenner initial necklaces (I have a G in gold and silver, for our last name), but I kind of like the idea of wearing a few of these pendant necklaces, stacked, in different colors with an initial for J and H (for my sons Jack and Harrison). The pendant can be on a gold or silver chain, 16-18″, uppercase or lowercase, comes in 24 colors of acrylics, and each bar can hold up to 3 initials.  Nice.  Prices start at $44. Finally Friday: Cap Toe Flat

Crocs Cap Toe Flat | CorporetteMomsYou may have mixed feelings on Crocs (hideous for all! great for kids only! great as slippers only! great for all!) but these 85 positive reviews and, let’s face it, a pretty cute look, make these rubber shoes kind of great, particularly for mamas. Wear them as a commuting shoe (or your shoe shoe) to work, and then wear them around the sprayground with your kiddo. I love that pop of yellow, but the shoe also comes in black, white, bronze, dark brown, and tortoise. Amazon carries the shoe in many colors, including purple, with prices from $22-$53; and 6pm has a sale color, espresso reduced to $29. The shoes pictured are $39 at Zappos. Crocs Cap Toe Flat

Psst: Note that Amazon’s Deal of the Day is 70% off coats, including lots of coats for babies and kids.

Everyone Thursday: Tailored Peplum Jacket

Topshop Tailored Peplum JacketI originally had my eye on this little number for Washable Wednesday, but I’m trying to limit that feature to things where the care instructions are actually “machine wash,” not just things where they say something other than “dry clean only.”  This one says “dry clean,” but I wouldn’t even give this one a grace period — it looks totally washable to my eyes.  I like the slightly fitted nature, the collarless jewelneck, and the slight peplum flounce in the back.  It comes in charcoal and “nude”, sizes 2-14, for $96 at Nordstrom. (Although this piece is (sadly) not part of the Nordstrom clearance sale, lots of other great pieces are — please do check out our workwear roundup.)

(Psst: the Kate Spade surprise sale ends today, with prices up to 75% off — baby bags are included.)
