Everlane Street Shoe | CorporetteMomsI may have to pull the trigger on these shoes from Everlane — I keep thinking about them. They’re totally outside my usual wheelhouse, but I kind of like that — like, they’re so ugly they’re cool. What do you think of the trend, particularly with fashionable flats? Are you all for anything that’s comfortable and stylish, or do you prefer a sleeker, more classic version of fashion? Everlane Street Shoe (L-2)

I’m traveling overseas for business for eight days. Any suggestions on making the separation easier on my one-year-old (and me)? He will be at home with his father and (very familiar) grandparents.

I’m most wondering about pumping. I’ll be traveling to a time zone eight hours ahead of me. I’m planning to adjust my pumping schedule to local time. Does that make sense? I don’t want to get up at night to pump. (And any hints for places to pump at Heathrow?)

Random b**b question — after bf-ing for a year, my girls were completely limp and frankly I was used to them being that way. All the sudden in the last month they’ve become fuller again. Does this happen? Are they regenerating so to speak? Or am I over-looking the obvious that I might be pregnant again (not impossible, but I thought unlikely). Any other explanations?

I have a pair of Crocs brand slip ons that look a lot like this that I love. They aren’t super stylish, but they are non obtusive and super comfy. I wear them to the playground most weekends.

Happy Friday ladies! Question about babies and bad dreams. At what age do babies start to have bad dreams / nightmares? DS is 8 months and in the last couple of weeks has had two episodes of what appear to be nightmares. It happens about 45 minutes after we put him to bed. He screams – I mean, really screams, not at all like his normal crying or fussing – and when we go in he is not awake but is clearly terrified. He has his eyes closed and is still limp like he’s sleeping; even when we pick him up he doesn’t really wake but continues to cry. It takes some time (5 minutes?) for him to wake up and begin to calm down. It’s really upsetting to see and I’m a little worried – is this normal at this age? Have others experienced this or have tips? Also plan to mention it to his ped but we don’t go in for another month.

I don’t like these sneakers at all. Maybe it’s the white, lug-ish sole. I’m a huge fan of slip-on sneakers and thing they can look really cool. I think the Vince Blair slip-ons are a much better choice.
