Boden Long Line Ravello Top | CorporetteMomsInteresting: a silk/viscose blouse that is also machine washable. Say what? I like the relaxed fit, the fun prints and colors, and the details like the pleats at the neckline and the keyhole in back. The blouse is $88 at Boden, available in sizes 2-18. DC/Maryland ladies, do any of you have family photographer recommendations? We have never done family photos, but I’d like to do some this fall. Also, any tips in general for finding someone?

Anyone have recommendations for a robe? I am looking for one that I can wear post-partum while nursing and being around the house. I want it to have pockets, and enough coverage that it would be good while my MIL or nanny are around the house. I remember being freezing all the time after giving birth the first time around, so something on the heavier side would be good. Thanks!

We did robeez and pedi ped shoes at that age as my son did (and still has) very chubby feet. The soles on both were thin (though the pedi peds were more substantial) and very flexible. Our daycare also removed shoes immediately if kids were not outside (dirt reasons) so I wasn’t too worried about it impacting his foot development.

I’ve read that baby shoes aren’t recommended until walking is established. My daughter is almost 10 months. She’s not yet walking, but she’s cruising around, holding onto the furniture. Daycare just asked me to send shoes with her. There’s a wood deck outside, and apparently she enjoys cruising along the railing slats.

For this purpose, should I get the soft shoes that have a leathery no-slip bottom? I’m looking at a brand called Robeez. Or do I just get no-slip socks? I’m hesitant to get anything more substantial until she’s actually walking, but I’d like to at least try to comply with daycare’s request, since they must be worried about splinters (as well as the cooler weather, I’m sure).
