This wrap-style baby carrier is a classic for a reason.
As a petite person, I found wrap-style carriers a better fit than other styles. This one from Moby is made from soft, machine washable cotton and fits babies 8 to 33 pounds (although I’m not sure I’d want to carry a squirmy toddler in it). This front style-carrier is great for travel, especially to warmer weather locales. As with any wrap-style carrier, it takes a little practice to juggle your baby and all the straps, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be off!
Moby’s Classic Baby Carrier is $44.99 at Nordstrom Rack. You can also find it on Amazon and many other retailers.

We’re in that shoulder week between the end of summer camps and the start of school. (WHY.) I am saving both money and vacation days for a very necessary family trip to Asia in December, so we have playdates this week in place of childcare, and I have a menagerie of first- and second-graders tearing up my living room. It’s simultaneously adorable and also I have never identified more with the Grinch. Anyone else? What do other people do in this situation?
