A woman wearing an Ab-Solution Ankle Skimmer Jeans by Wit & Wisdom Something on your mind? Chat about it here. When we did our review of the most-loved denim at Nordstrom last year on Corporette, I was interested to see that Wit & Wisdom’s Itty Bitty Bootcut was really popular — and it looks like they’ve done it again with these ankle skimmer jeans. (The length is just a little bit shorter than your ankle, which is kind of nice.) People swear by these jeans for shaping and smoothing and for being very comfortable and easy to care for at the same time, and they have a 4.6/5.0 rating at Nordstrom with 200+ reviews. I like the darker rinse, as well. These are $68 and come in regular, petite, and plus sizesAb-solution Ankle Skimmer Jeans Psst: You can still sign up for our brand new Four Week Work Outfit Ideas Challenge! Breakfast:

donut holes, Mini bagels (they come in rainbow colors), muffins with cream cheese frosting, fruit kabobs or fruit in muffin cups

Lunch dessert/snack:
Fruit kabobs/fruit in muffin cups, jello or pudding cups, rainbow colored goldfish, “birthday cake” goldfish or teddy grahams, cheese sticks with celebratory drawings or stickers on them.

My personal approach is donut holes and/or stickers, if the school is super strict on food. Otherwise I do store bought school safe cupcakes. Why make yourself crazy bringing in a waffle bar for a class of 2 year olds?! Do that at home on a weekend when DH can help clean up :-).

I’m a jaded mom of 3 though. Even when I only worked PT no way was I jumping through any more hoops than necessary until the kid could remember or guilt me about it (3-5 depending on the kid).

Hey moms, any good ideas on what to serve at daycare for my kid’s birthday? I’m annoyedAF that they’re saying “no more cupcakes or cookies” like… fine, whatever, eyerolls4dayz.

I was thinking maybe like eggo waffles + berries + whipped cream as a morning snack?

Is there some sort of bad cold with a persistent cough going around? Spouse and I have been sick for 3 weeks with a mild cold that is just lingering and lingering and causing nighttime cough. We’ve both been to doctors, been told it is viral, and just to tough it out. I just feel like I am never going to get better. Curious if anyone else out there is suffering.

I’ve come to realize over the last few months that my husband has probably been mildly depressed for years, with occasional bouts of deeper depression (maybe 2-3 times a year). I have zero experience with depression and do not know the best place to start to support him. This week, he mentioned a desire to see a therapist twice. He’s historically been very opposed to therapy, so I was glad to hear him mention it. I’d like to encourage his desire to see a therapist. I’m willing to do all the legwork, including making the appt, going to the appt with him, driving him there, dealing with the insurance reimbursement paperwork, anything and everything. But what is the best and most appropriate way to support him? I’m certain that we could use some marriage counseling as well but I think his mental health is #1 priority. Would love feedback from someone who has been in either position.
