Family Friday: Sun Paper Art Kit

I remember the first time I used sun paper during a school field trip. This summer, I’ll get my kids this sun paper art kit so they can experience that same “wow” feeling I had.
Simply arrange the animal stencils on the paper, expose to sun, and dip in water to sharpen the images. They can enhance their art with the included markers and googly eyes, or any other arts and crafts supplies you have around. You can also use objects like leaves, flowers, or everyday objects around the house as stencils.
Skillmatics’ Sun Paper Art Kit is under $20 at Amazon. In addition to animals, there are also nature and unicorn/princess sets.

I’m a 40yo mom in need of an income boost, and I can see the path for it. But it’s going to take 5-10 years, a solid number of college credits, and some side-hustling. I’m already feeling stretched so thin, and sooo wising I could focus on my kids more. Just looking at passing the first exam, it’s going to cost me some lazy swimming days this summer. Please help me get my head in the right place for this?
It’s my last day of leave. I had cleared my day to volunteer at my kids’ field day but it was cancelled due to weather.
I had sort of tied up all my loose ends with the idea that yesterday was my last day, even getting a pedicure as a treat! Now I have 5 1/2 hours of ‘no plans’ which is something that doesn’t exist. What would you do? New project? Read a book? Inspire me!
