I hate that I spent a whole decade of my life being terrified that I’d get pregnant before I was ready and now that I would like to be, it’s taking a while.
I’m hurt, I’m nervous something is ‘really’ wrong, I’m feeling kind of weirdly isolated as well. My husband is wonderful and just tells me to relax and not stress, but this is just seriously gnawing at me. The positive thing is that I am now more sure than ever that I want a child.
Also- back in my ‘oh, I can totally time this pregnancy for a time of year where I won’t have a new baby in the dead of cold and flu season’ days, I thought it would be preferable to have a kiddo in the May-September timeframe, but now I’m thinking of throwing the whole timing idea out the window and just hoping it happens at all. Okay, now I can go back to being a normal human being.
On the topic of mom friends, does this page have enough regulars yet to try mom meetups like the maim site does? I doubt that there is anyone in my area anyway but worth a shot!
