I have this dress and like it. It’s perfect for my business casual office. The fabric is thick and forgiving, and it has pockets.
ANP says
Agreed! I have it in both solid black and a navy and red print. Great for work, totally forgiving, a nice heavy fabric and POCKETS! Big winner in my book and I always buy on sale.

I have the 3/4 sleeve version of this dress and LOVE it. I mostly wear suits to work, but when I don’t have to wear a suit this dress is perfect for my not-quite-business-dress office- but has pockets, is comfy, and doesn’t wrinkle.

Watching my husband be a dad cracks me up. I came downstairs this morning and baby had been fussing so my husband was sitting at the kitchen table, drinking his coffee with Baby Clem fully swaddled up and in the baby bathtub in the middle of the table.
We have a large house and several otherwise appropriate baby-containers, but husband wanted baby to be able to ‘hang out’ and be right with him while he drank coffee. I hope this gives you all a good giggle today!
(Please note: husband was sitting directly there, proper and appropriate safety procedures were indeed being observed.)

Love this and I can totally imagine the scene in my head as you described it :)

Lol love the phrase “baby containers.” My baby isn’t even here yet and I’ve already been called out on referring to everything as “baby crap.”
Clementine says
Oh, we’re pretty minimalist, but there really is a lot of crap. Husband coined baby containers when lamenting about why we needed so many of them.
We got a hand me down rock and play though and that has been our most used item by far for the newborn phase. It’s portable so we carry it from room to room.

Haha, love it! Watching my husband grow into his roll as father is another source of baby related joy I hadn’t anticipated (and vice versa, he says). Now the question for us is will that hold true for #2 ;)

Love this – thanks for the smile.

Pre-baby, I never really understood what a pack n play was for, but that’s exactly what it is: a baby container. Still useful and baby is over a year old now.

My baby was found in/placed in:
-A laundry basket
-a plastic ikea bin
-My dog’s bed (dog was outside, dad thought it would be softer…)
– a large Tupperware (I think this was for a photo about the baby being smaller than the turkey)

Update! There’s an extra 20% off clearance on Lands End right now so that makes this dress a ridiculously screaming deal.
