I’ve written about my love for matching sets — they’re an easy way to feel put-together and comfy at the same time. Given our stay-at-home lifestyles, matching sets will be popular for a while, and those who are expecting can also partake in this trend.

Target was my go-to for maternity and nursing basics (think nursing camis), but I should have looked at them for their more fashionable wear.

Target’s Isabel Maternity by Ingrid & Isabel has some lovely pieces, including their Maternity Match Back Sweatshirt and coordinating Match Back Jogger Pants. They come in five spring-ready colors, including two fun (yet muted) tie-dye options.

This set would be equally perfect for lounging at home or running errands in style and comfort. Reviewers mention the sweatshirt runs small, so consider sizing up.

The sweatshirt and joggers are available in sizes XS–XXL. The sweatshirt is $24.99 and the matching joggers are $27.99.

Wow, I noticed the main C-rtte page is really full of naysayers and attack dogs lately.

Working, but it’s so cold here that our city’s power grid is starting to shut down because of the high electricity use. So maybe I won’t be working for long?

Right now I’m regretting every vacation to a warm place that I didn’t take.

It’s cold and I’m trapped inside and at home and wishing I could fly to a beach somewhere.

Working here … not very productively.

Guess no one else is stuck working on this holiday! Both daycare and school are closed, but DH took a floating holiday to at least corral the preschooler. They’re going to drive to a small local airport to watch planes take off and land which is about the only covid-friendly activity we could think of today. The baby is in that magic age where he naps most of the workday and isn’t mobile and so I can pretty realistically ‘watch’ him while I work today.

I tried doing a busytoddler sticker activity the other day – the one she always has where the kids put the colored dots on the letters of their name – and LO rejected it. “But I don’t want to do that cuz I don’t want to cover up my name!” He traced the letters I’d written instead but that only occupied about 45 seconds of the weekend. Sigh.
