Plant parent in your life? Help them welcome their newest plant baby with this unique ceramic planter.
This handcrafted, three-piece indoor planter has all-important drainage holes so excess water drains out. The elevated design will showcase even the most petite greenery, and the four color options will match any decor. (I especially love the black polka-dotted one.)
Add the two-piece planter ($39) for a coordinating set.
Justina Blakeney’s Kaya planter is $49 at Nordstrom.

I’m 16 weeks pregnant and I haven’t gained a pound. It’s not morning sickness, just complete lack of appetite and burning calories chasing a toddler. Obviously, I need to eat more/better but my time is incredibly short. I’ve added a greek yogurt snack every day, but what else would you add for grab-and-go type things I can eat at my desk?
Anonymous says
Cheese sticks, Babybel, individual packets of nuts and trail mix.
Anon says
milkshake a day when you get home from work!

I wouldn’t worry unless your OB is concerned. I put nearly all my pregnancy pounds on in the first trimester but I have friends who were the opposite and basically didn’t gain anything until the third trimester. Absent a medical issue like hyperemesis, the baby will get what it needs and the number on the scale doesn’t matter that much.

+1. I lost 15 pounds in the first trimester because of morning sickness, and my doctors were not worried. Unless you were already underweight to start, I wouldn’t worry about it
AIMS says
I also didn’t put on much weight and even lost some in the beginning and had two perfectly healthy and good sized kids.
GCA says
+1 on pregnancy weight gain being both variable and often non-linear. I gained most in late 2nd / early 3rd trimester with each kid. If you are getting the nutrition you need, baby will get the nutrition it needs.
