Cashmere sweaters are a winter wardrobe staple. Nordstrom has a relaxed V-neck version that you’ll wear year after year.
This soft sweater comes in eight colors, ranging from basic black to powdery pink. Wear it everywhere — add wool trousers or a satin skirt for the office, and jeans or cords for the weekend. You can even play with layering for a different look — try a turtleneck or silk blouse underneath.
Nordstrom’s V-neck cashmere sweater is $99 and up, depending on color (reduced from $149) and comes in sizes XXS-XXL.

My kid is looking for black pleated short/short-ish skirts (women’s XS/S). We’ve tried Marshalls, H&M, Amazon, etc., and aren’t having a ton of luck, because they’re a bit picky. :) Hard to wade through the tons of super fast fashion, too.
I’m going to lead a baking activity for a Girl Scout troop of 8 first and second grade girls. I was going to have them work in groups of 2-3 and bake three different cookie recipes with enough that each girl gets one of each cookie. We have three adult volunteers, including me, so there will be an adult supervising each group. There are no food allergies. I want to keep it simple, since they’re still pretty little. I was thinking chocolate crinkle cookies, funfetti cookies and peanut butter blossoms with Hershey’s kisses. Does this sound like a good plan? Anyone done anything like this and have any tips? Will they all fight over who gets to make the funfetti cookies? ;)
