A frigid day at the slopes left my face raw and red. This overnight mask may be what I need to restore and heal my skin.
Laneige’s Water Sleeping Mask contains three types of hyaluronic acids, niacinamide, and squalane to hydrate, brighten, and restore your skin’s moisture barrier. The smooth and silky formula absorbs quickly and works overnight so you have radiant and glowing skin in the morning.

Hello everyone here,i wish to share my life changing story here, this information will also change your life. I was sacked at my workplace,i had issues with my boss,so he relieved me of my job, which caused a great financial crisis in my life,i was bankrupt and i was behind on bills. Once day,i came across a post of a lady who praised the services of a hacker that helped her with a blank ATM card, she was really excited,so i decided to mail the hacker and give it a try,he responded to my email and explained the entire process of how it works,i was hesitant but decided to go ahead, truly i received the ATM card after 4 days, then i went to make withdrawal,i was shocked, the machine dispense cash of $2500 to me that very day, until now,am still making withdrawal and i have made a total withdrawal of $50,000. Am so happy,am back on my feet financially, settling all bills and living a happy life. The card is very safe and secure to use,no tracking or security issues. I promise Sven that i will share the good news everywhere and let those in need know about his goodness. If you are interested and want to get back on your feet financially, kindly email him at [email protected] Tell him,i referred you.
please don’t sign your kid up for 3 team sports in the same season that all have games and practices on the same day and then tell the team you let your kid choose which one she prefers that week to attend. it is extremely unfair to the other kids (and parents) on the team.
Why did your little kid throw a tantrum today? Mine is currently upset that I said it was fine that she moved her trash can from one corner to another. I think she wanted me to tell her no so she could throw a tantrum about the no.
DH just lost a parent. We were all close and it sucks. This is also bringing up some really bad feelings for me of when I lost a parent and DH thought he was there for me, but really wasn’t.
Time has passed, he apologized, etc….but how do I deal with my own resentment creep now? It is flaring up right now when DH does his usual stress behaviors, like grumbling about things around the house, (e.g. “Why is this here?”; “Ugh I always have to do X.”) which is more frequent right now and not directed towards me/the kids, but just very draining for me as the person who is steering the ship/being the emotional compass.
I have a note out to my therapist to discuss this, too. I don’t want it to get in the way of me being supportive and present for him/the family, which it hasn’t, but I can feel it building. I had a good cry this AM and a vent session with a friend that helped.
Is anyone watching the Olympics with their kids? We’ve stayed up past bedtime too late to watch the snowboarding big air, and have a plan for the women’s finals tonight. None of us are sporty but we’ve gotten really into it. We’ve mostly been oohing and ahhing about the amazing flips, but also talking a bit about how well the competitors take it when they fall, etc.
Has anyone tried a “slackboard” for thier kids? That thing that looks kind of like a snowboard with a strap over it? I’m considering one as a 4th bday present for my kid who needs a lot of propioceptive play but… isn’t athletically gifted.
Other suggestions for indoor moverment toys would also be welcome!
Went to the pool yesterday with kid and tugged my bathing suit over my neglected bikini line the entire time. How do you all maintain things down there? Regular waxing, trim, shave, laser?
Social expectations for a newly 5 yo? We went to a class birthday party on Saturday, and my kid either played with his older brother or by himself. At school, he gets on well with classmates as far as I can tell, and when I pick him up he’s typically running around the playground with some friends, and even asks that I pick him up later so he can play.
Now that I type it, I remember it being a bit similar with my oldest (now 8) at this age/at the bigger class parties – sometimes he’d actually get overwhelmed at birthdays and stick closer to me.

I have an interview today at a state agency doing work I’d really like to do. However, it’s a pay cut and while it’s feasible (barely), my husband and I discussed it and it really makes sense for me to take this role in more like 1.5 years from now, to allow us to save more and give us a better safety net. Also, our expenses will decrease by about 1,000 per month next September (oldest starting public school). For context, our bare bones monthly expenses are $12,000. This job, unless they offer me the top of the range which is unlikely, would net us at a combined $12,300. Right now we net about $17k per month. We recently spent a lot of our savings on a home renovation and cleanly only have 15k in HYSA and 65k in brokerage. Retirement is in good shape.
Husband has very stable job with incredible benefits and modest yearly increases.
How to decline an offer, if received, while not burning any bridges? I would like this job in the not-too-distant future.
Why did I apply? The process usually takes close to a year. However, I know the person who would be my boss and he fast tracked me. The process happened really really fast, and now that I’ve had some time to process, I know it’s just not the right time.
My toddler all of a sudden has much worse eczema on his legs, especially behind the knees. 8-month wait for pediatric dermatology right now and his regular pediatrician says it’s just dry air. Any lotion recommendations for me? We skew crunchy-ish so prefer something without fragrance etc if possible.
