Mushie - Set of 4 Sea Life Bath Playset

Bath toys always get a little icky after a while. These toys open up for drying and cleaning.

This set of four sea life bath toys is made from food grade silicone, so no worries if your little one sticks one in their mouth. They’re also dishwasher safe. The soft material is easy for little hands to grab so their imaginations can run (or swim) wild.

The set is $22 at Nordstrom. There’s also a vehicle set, and Amazon has a space set.

Sales of note for 11.25.24 (Great Black Friday Sales!!)

How was Halloween? It makes my kids soooo happy (my oldest can spend hours just sorting through and talking about candy varieties) but it was exhausting and I’m ready to put it all away. Also pet peeve, we trick or treated with a group of friends and one of the moms mentioned several times that other moms wanted to trick or treat with her, but she chose us. Ok thanks?! I mean it’s a neighborhood where groups kind of come together and flow apart, it’s not like we were chained together. If I weren’t sleep deprived I would probably not think twice about it, but she was kind of negative the whole walk and it was very annoying.

Hope everyone had a better Halloween than we did. Kiddos are 6 and it was the worst one so far. One twin was whining/crying half the night and I can’t say that I was the most patient of moms. I love DD but she literally does not talk in a regular voice recently. She only whines. It’s exhausting and unpleasant. Any tips?

There is a lot of good conversation here about neurodiversity. I’ve also noticed if often ties in with kids being close to gifted/or gifted on this forum.

Does anyone have any experience with ND/NT kids who are…below average/low IQ? How did it look in the preschool years? I understand it’s hard to assess before a kid is 5-6 years of age.

My kid is ~4, in daycare, potty trained (daytime), and is generally doing fine, but is often the slowest of the pack developmentally (for example – there’s a ladder on the playground structure at school, they only get up a few rungs, other classmates climb it easier, kid can’t use scissors properly yet). On the other hand, kid loves puzzles, has some great pre-literacy/number sense skills, is fine at tracing letters/numbers/their name, etc.

They’ve had some minor delays and we’ve engaged therapy as we needed (PT for a few months for late walking, and now ST for almost a year), and had some specialist referrals, but never felt the need to do a full evaluation because kiddo has been functioning overall well and always progresses.

I posted a few weeks ago about having lice. After weeks of treatment and professional help; I think we have gotten rid of them. However, my hair is super dry/looks horrible. Any advice on how to help it recover??
