I love my old Ugg slippers — if I ever needed a replacement pair, I’d get this knit version.
These slip-on, scuff-style slippers are lined with genuine shearling for unbeatable comfort and warmth. The black or charcoal knit upper looks just like your favorite winter sweater. The durable EVA outsole means you can make a quick trip to the mailbox in them.
Ugg’s Cozy Knit Slippers are $119.95 at Zappos. They come in whole sizes 5-12.

I saw the check-in on the main page with updates and it made me think about how grateful I was when I sought advice here almost 5 years ago. It was right before the pandemic. I had one older child and was in my early 40s when surprise, I had a positive pregnancy test. It was early and I was uncertain of what to do, what was going to be best for our family. What people commented on and picked up on was how cautiously happy I was about it all. She’s four now and brings a lot of joy and completeness to our family, which even my big kid agrees. I also have to say that I live in a part of the world where termination would have been straightforward for me logistically and I’m really, really grateful. I didn’t feel trapped, I felt like I got to choose and that made all the difference. Some of my life isn’t perfect, of course, but it was good decision for our family and I got frank and lovely advice and thoughts from you all and I’m grateful for that this holiday season. I don’t comment a lot but I regularly read and I love the updates about people. I feel like I’ve gotten to know and the interesting perspectives of all you moms out there. It’s a good community.
Will probably ask tomorrow to get more eyeballs, but am struggling now! My 8 year old, who is a picky eater but I think well within the realm of normal, is refusing to eat after a few days with a virus. She threw up Friday and has been running a fever on and off, and has eaten only a bit of mango and peanut butter pretzels since Friday. I think it’s a cycle of her stomach hurts because it’s empty but she won’t eat anything because it hurts. We’re starting to cancel plans because we don’t want her to get anyone else sick, which spurred her to eat yesterday (and it seemed to sit fine), but now it feels almost like a battle of wills. She’s acting fine until we ask her to eat something, then she gets all mopey. I’m afraid if we leave it alone she just won’t eat. My husband thinks she is enjoying the negative attention (and the side bonus of ruining plans for her sister when we have to cancel on visitors). Any advice or thoughts would be great!
