Family Friday: Construction Raincoat

As a toddler, my oldest could care less what she wore. My youngest is a budding fashionista who will hem and haw over what shirt to wear to Grandma’s.
I always turn to Carter’s for whatever my kids are currently obsessing over. My toddler is going through a construction phase, so this raincoat from Carter’s couldn’t be more perfect. In addition to fending off spring showers, this jersey-lined coat has functional pockets. (My kid will fill them with his other obsession, rocks.)
If your little one isn’t into construction like mine, there are several other patterns to pick from (dinosaurs! sharks!).
This raincoat is $24 at Carter’s and comes in sizes 2T to 5T. It’s also available in baby sizes.

Test
Wow, big kids big kid problems is no joke. My daughter just turned 9 and woke up in the middle of the night with the most horrifying nightmare. She ran into our room covered in sweat screaming “my mouth! My mouth” coughing and choking. She’s been sick with a head cold all week, so the cough wasn’t a shock. She screaming and doubling over in pain, clawing at her mouth. It took us at least 5 minutes to decide if we had to call 911 or if she was dreaming. We finally figured out she was having a horrible waking nightmare that she couldn’t wake up from. After almost 10 minutes of full on horror movie screaming about her mouth and not being able to breathe, gagging over the toilet, she just sort of realized she was awake. Took her (and us!) another half hour to really get over it and another 30 to get back to sleep.
My kids have had nightmares before but NOTHING like this. It was somewhere between a panic attack, a seizure, and a full on hallucination.
