Two light blue packing cubes

If your packing style is more “why not” than capsule wardrobe, squeeze in an extra sweater or two with these compression packing cubes.

This set of two cubes open wide for easy packing. After you’ve stuffed everything in, durable compression zippers eliminate excess air. Water-repellent, durable, rip-stop nylon fabric will keep your favorite items dry and ready to wear.

Thule’s packing cube set is $53.95 at REI and comes in three colors.

Inspired by the woman below who is still rock climbing at 6m pregnant.. what’s your “dang, I’m awesome” brag? Don’t bother making it humble — we’re all anonymous, lean into being loudly proud of yourself. Doesn’t have to be kid related!

Kid brag? We always do a 1-on-1 climbing lessons when we’re at my parents’. It’s cheaper here (he goes to weekly kids climb at home and LOVES it), it’s a good thing to have in the calendar during pretty unstructured time. My dad took him today and he climbed the highest climbing wall in this country! It took him half the lesson, and he’s so so pleased with himself. Highly recommend climbing as a physical activity for kids who don’t love team sports. He started at Christmas and has absolutely thrived.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good bubble machine? I want to get one for my child’s upcoming third birthday and want something that will actually work good
