I’m done having kids, but this dress is gorgeous!

My almost 10 year old is hosting a sleepover for her birthday. Suggestions for a good movie? Friends birthday parties recently involved going to Barbie and Wonka. She suggested the eras movie, but I’m not sure a 3 hour viewing is going to be conducive to ever getting them to sleep.

Anyone have a recommendation for kid-friendly afternoon tea in Manhattan? Taking my 6 year old to NYC soon and would like to do a nice tea before a Broadway matinee (Aladdin).

my 5 year old often pees herself when she laughs too hard. should i be concerned about her pelvic strength?

Any suggestions for a fall break trip the last week in September leaving from Atlanta? I’d prefer a driving trip, but I’m up for a 1-2 hour flight. Kid will be newly 4. We usually do active and outdoorsy trips. We all have passports.
Savannah, Charleston, florida have been done several times.
Don’t think kiddo is quite old enough to make DC worth the cost.

My almost-6-yo is having a birthday party at our house this weekend. Just three friends (plus his big sister and her +1), and he chose a “Penguin Pajama Party” theme (he adores penguins, and also wearing pajamas). Any fun penguin-related ideas for crafts or games? Since it’s so few kids I’m willing to do something marginally more elaborate (but am also happy to just let them play for two hours). Party is from 10-12 and we’ll have muffins/bagels, and then a penguin ice cream cake.

Reporting back from tonsil and adenoid removal surgery! It went great and my kid was back in school in about 6 days, although we kept it short with no aftercare for a few days. We were prescribed a steroid for three days plus an optional 7 day antibiotic, which we did. And also kept a week long regimen of rotating tylenol and motrin every 3 hours, around the clock, including overnight which was key for keeping the throat stretched out and swallowing regularly. Surgery wasn’t until 1:30PM, so they couldn’t eat or drink all day which was surprisingly not as big of a deal as I thought it would be. We don’t allow much juice or screentime, so having both of those in unlimited quantities seemed to outweigh the pain of surgery, lol. Right now (slightly less than 2 weeks out) they are basically back to normal.

4.5 years after my 2nd child, I’d like to do something about my stomach that looks like I’m 3 months pregnant still. I’m a size 2 so pretty small all around except here. do I need a trainer? what kind of exercise do I need to be doing or what should I be eating? also the permanent stretch marks and wrinkling around my belly button make me self conscious but I doubt that can ever improve. it definitely runs in the family..
