I wouldn’t mind wearing this elegant shawl long after pregnancy.
Start wearing this soft shawl as a lightweight layer during your pregnancy and use it as a nursing shawl after delivery. This shawl is made from a breathable cotton/viscose/cashmere blend and also works as a stroller / car seat cover, baby blanket, or pumping cover. It’s machine washable, so spills and spit-ups are no problem.
Quince’s nursing shawl is $39.90 and comes in nine colors.

For the SAHMs (current or past) here, or very, very part time moms here, I am trying to go very, very part time (plan to tell my boss soon, then wind down until summer break). I want to keep up my professional licensure and a few small clients. I also plan to attend some more networking/seminars etc. while I’m downshifted. I have 2 elementary age kids, one daycare age. I read the “Power Pause.” Any other advice, things you wished you’d known, etc.?
Just screaming into the void: signed up for my first 2 weeks of summer camp this weekend (but frankly am going to likely end up paying to drop out of one of them.)
I don’t know what weeks basketball camp will be offered yet (not a lot of choices in his age range).
The preferred soccer camp is only offered the same week as his preferred hockey camp, which also the only week that works for us that the great university sports camp that we failed to get into last year is offered. Cool.
WHY? why are all the camps the kid really wants the same week? and why can’t all the schedules be published at the same time….
