When did you take your kid to their first movie at a theater? My husband wants to take our 3.75-year old to see the Mario movie and I don’t think it will be fun. What do you all think?
Do you go on your elementary kids’ field trips? On one hand, I’d love to spend a beautiful spring afternoon with my daughter. On the other, the idea of being thrown into supervising a group of kids I don’t know very well stresses me out. I remember my own mom doing it a handful of times. Just curious whether others do this, too.
Ugh left work early and got kid at daycare for a ped appointment and we got here and apparently the pediatrician is not scheduled to work today. They said they left a voicemail last week which I didn’t get. I think that’s due to an issue with my phone (long story) but I feel like it’s at least partly their fault because I logged into the patient portal today and it still showed the appointment. I asked why they didn’t cancel it and they said “we wanted to reschedule, not cancel.” Wtf.. if the doctor is not working that day you shouldn’t indicare we have an appointment with that doctor.
We are going to Legoland (NY) this weekend! Wish us luck. Will report back whether two full days there is too much or just right.
