Zingo! Family & Kids Board Game

Over the holidays, my kids had a lot of cousin time. One of their favorite games to play together was Zingo!

A fast-paced game similar to Bingo!, the goal is to be the first to match all the pictures/words on your board. There are two board sizes and levels of play so younger ones learning to read can play with older kids.

Zingo! Is $19.89 at Target and also available at Amazon.

Looking for input from the lawyers. This is such a cliche, but I’m 10+ years out and looking to leave my small firm litigation (and other work but litigation is a huge piece and I don’t enjoy it or the stress it entails) role for a legal or legal adjacent position with no billable hours, with actual paid time off, vacations that can be enjoyed without worrying about making up hours and staying on top of email the whole time, either fully remote or hybrid (I currently WFH 90% of the time), and just generally lower stress with little to no work in the evenings or on weekends. Have 3 kids, a toddler and two in elementary. Considering a claims position at a large insurance company where I have a connection who speaks highly of the company and its WLB and hybrid schedule. Can anyone speak to this type of move and whether you’d recommend it? What should I be considering that I might not be? Not concerned about stepping away from practicing (don’t care about prestige and I’m way more “work to live” than live to work) – just want to avoid making a move I’ll regret. But I am somewhat burned out and have been since our third arrived, and have explored many non-firm options, as I have no interest in another firm (current one is fine especially on WFH, but the factors above are not going to change). TY for any thoughts!

Love Zingo, really cute game.

Re the post from last week about warm joggers: I’ve been loving the gap vintage joggers – especially the longer length

I know there are a lot of attorney who read here. This is absolutely wild: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/the-wild-indictment-of-tom-goldstein-of-scotusblog/amp/

Random recommendation: last year we switched the kids (2/6/8) from snowpants + jacket to a full snowsuit and it has made life a TON easier. Less to forget, much easier for them to do on their own, and we can layer underneath depending on the temperature. We get them from Mountain Warehouse for $60. They also have puffy jackets for wearing to school, errands, etc, but they throw on their snowsuits for any skiing/sledding/outdoor stuff.
