Solo Stove Yukon 2.0 + Stand, 27 Inch Smokeless Fire Pit – Portable Stainless Steel Outdoor Fireplace

Something on your mind? Chat about it here.

It’s fire pit season! If you want to create a cozy oasis in your yard for family and friends, consider Solo Stove’s Yukon fire pit.

This fire pit is 27” in diameter, so it accommodates at least six people. The 360-degree airflow and double-wall design reduce smoke while the removable stainless steel ash pan makes cleanup easy. For fire building novices, it’s easy to use and includes a shield to deflect embers and a lid to contain them.

It even comes in several colors.

This fire pit is available at Amazon and starts at around $500+, depending on the color.

If it’s firepit season where you are, I’m jealous. It’s going to be nearly 90 in my part of the Midwest next week.

hi! Does anyone know a good resource for figuring out how to navigate the preschool/school environment on the upper east side NYC? My son is 6mo and I have no real idea when I need to start thinking about this. Ty!!

We got the mini tabletop version of this fire pit (SoloStove Mesa) and used it to make S’mores last weekend. I would like to get the Yukon pictured above eventually when DS is a little older. It is fire pit weather here this weekend, but will be in the 80s next week. Fall is definitely the best season in Michigan but spring is muddy and rainy.

Just walked out of an OB appointment where I was told that needing to lay down after an hour or two of play with my toddler / not being able to do my job due to significant brain fog was “normal” at 22 weeks in a second pregnancy and not a sign anything was wrong. “Second pregnancies are universally harder” was the diagnosis. Ferritin is low but no anemia, so they don’t want to do iron infusions.

I’m pretty tough and if this is normal and something I need to power through, it is what it is. But: can others weigh in on the “second pregnancies are universally harder” and “this sounds normal” pieces?
