I’ve been using old bath towels for the pool, but now that I’m going more regularly, maybe it’s time for a real beach towel.
There are lots of bright and fun options at every price range, but if you’re looking to treat yourself, I like this one from Slowtide. It has a colorful, geographic wave print that’s ideal for the pool or the beach. Made from easy care, absorbent, 100% cotton, it’ll dry you off in style.
This beach towel is $45 at Nordstrom.

Just complaining into the void. Me and the kids got COVID. Thankfully DH is so far feeling well so taking up a lot of slack. But DS’s fever spiked, making me really nervous (kids under 5 so unvaccinated). I’m feeling lousy. And we had to cancel our vacation (group vacation with friends and their kids so, no brainer and very glad we didn’t expose them, but still a bummer!). Also DH’s work—despite this falling when he already was supposed to be on vacation—had a manufactured crisis so he kept having to take stressful calls. I know almost everyone has dealt with this by now, but after so many negative tests/regular colds I was a little (irrationally, I know!) surprised tbh. On the bright side, I’m glad my youngest is now getting this at 2.5yo instead of as a newborn when this first started, so looking at the bright side.
