Something on your mind? Chat about it here.

I’m always on the hunt for comfortable travel pants that don’t look like pajamas.

These breathable, 100% cotton pants might be exactly what I am looking for. The textured fabric hides wrinkles, while the on-seam and back pockets are perfect for holding things like ticket stubs and hotel keycards. The grosgrain drawstring will ensure a custom fit, especially after I’ve indulged in an extra scoop of gelato.

Vince’s Drawstring Utility Pants are on sale for $296.25 (down from $395) at Nordstrom. These come in sizes XS-XL and are available in two neutral colors.

Two more affordable options are from Skims ($70, XXS-4X) and Caslon ($59.50, XXS-XXL); both are also available at Nordstrom.

What’s the protocol when your kid throws up at a restaurant? My husband tried to clean the table while I rushed the kid to the bathroom, and then we quickly paid and left (left a 50% tip). Anything else to do better next time? I feel like we can’t show our faces at this particular restaurant again…

I am returning to work postpartum and still not quite fitting into my jeans or old work pants yet. Does anyone have any stretchy work pants that they swear by can be elevated casual or business casual, but they need to be machine washable. I’ve been eyeing Athleta Brooklyn pants or Eileen Fisher, but wondering what else is out there.
