It’s cozy season and I’m going to treat myself to some cashmere socks like these.
These soft, ribbed crew socks are made in the UK from 100% luxurious cashmere. A pair of these will keep your toes warm and toasty for the rest of fall and all winter long. They’d also make a fabulously indulgent gift for someone else.
These cashmere rib crew socks are $75 at Nordstrom and come in gray, “new camel,” and pale blue marl.

Filed under “why didn’t I do this sooner?”
My 8 year old is obsessed with sushi, but as I have a budget and we don’t live where it’s ubiquitous, he doesn’t get to eat it as often as he’d like. We tried making it with a bamboo rolling mat once, but while an interesting experiment, it was a big messy fail.
This week, I got a sushi bazooka for like $15 from Amazon, and not only did DS practically dance around the kitchen because he was excited and totally jazzed to help, but it was SO easy, and SO fun. We already have a rice cooker and regularly have avocado and cucumber in the house, so deli imitation crab and a pack of nori were all we needed to make California rolls happen. Highly recommend.
