I’m in the middle of training for a half marathon, and after every run, the first thing I reach for is my foam roller.
This lightweight, yet firm foam roller is all you need to massage away soreness, tightness, and knots post-workout. I just use an online foam rolling class, and in 10 minutes, I can get on with my day.
This Amazon Basics foam roller comes in four sizes for under $15.

What’s everyone up to this weekend? It’s our first weekend in over two months without travel or a birthday party, so I’m looking forward to a quieter weekend before the Halloween activity crush. We have the usual weekend activities (swimming, ninja class), Zoo Boo with my parents and need to go to the mall to get outfits for family photos next week. Will also hit up a pumpkin patch/corn maze if we have time.
Today was picture day at preschool. DS refused to wear the outfit we wanted him to wear this morning, so I let him pick out his clothes and he ended up choosing a graphic shirt and sweatpants. Seeing how nice the other kids were dressed, I feel like I should have pushed a bit more to have him wear something nicer. I know he will have many more picture days after this one, just bummed that this year’s pictures won’t turn out great.
