Nursing/Postpartum Tuesday: The Ollie Swaddle

The Ollie Swaddle is the swaddle I wish I had when my kids were babies.
Like any good swaddle, this one helps babies sleep by reducing waking due to their startle reflex, and promotes self-soothing. However, it goes above and beyond the typical swaddle — it’s made from a moisture-wicking fabric, has an opening on the bottom for easy diaper changes, and grows with your baby so you don’t have to buy multiple sizes.
The Ollie Swaddle is $59 and comes in seven colors.

i posted yesterday about our spring break trip being messed up, but please help me not lose it with my sick daughter as I 100% realize her behavior is not her fault (when she has fever, she obviously cannot think logically), but I’ve only showered once since Friday, haven’t been outside or slept more than 4 hours consecutively at a time. I’m running on fumes and out of patience. DH doesn’t come home with other kiddo until tomorrow night, at which time I think things might actually get harder, bc at least right now i only have to deal with one kid. last week i solo parented all week. this week the kids were supposed to be in ski school for 3 days, so i’d get some time to myself. any tips?
How genetic is musical ability? And is bad ability something that can be overcome with hard work? I’m tone deaf (at least I was always told that by mom, who said the same thing about herself, and my teachers). I enjoy listening to music but can’t recognize it to save my life. My singing was so bad in elementary school they didn’t let me sing in the school-wide chorus concerts. But now I sort of wonder if it was a self-fulfilling prophecy, and I was terrible at music because I was told I was terrible at it and didn’t try. My 7 year old is increasingly passionate about singing and musical theater (thanks Wicked, lol). She sounds pretty bad to me but I don’t know if that’s because she’s 7 or if she is actually bad. Is music like sports where you can overcome a lack of innate ability with hard work and get to at least a decent rec level, even if you’ll never be a varsity athlete or Olympian? Or is there a certain minimum ability you really need to be able to participate?
To be clear, I’m not saying anything discouraging to her now and am continuing to sign her up for signing and musical theater classes as she asks. Just curious.
Search is failing me – I know this has been discussed before, but recs for hotel in NYC with elementary aged kids? Plans are still in flux but likely will do at least one broadway show, museum of natural history, plenty of walking and eating. DH and I haven’t been in ages and kids have never been. Prefer Marriott or Hyatt brands but are flexible. While I don’t mind spending in the neighborhood of $1k a night for great location, less is always nice. Not interested in Airbnb. Appreciate any recs!
This swaddle is the MVP and has become my default baby shower gift. So far everyone tells me this is the only swaddle that gets their infants to sleep.
DD is 2 now and still sleeps in the Ollie sleep sack called an Alphie. I don’t think she needs it but the compression feels comfortable.
Thoughts on delaying a second kid until we get through the current political crisis? I worry that means I will end up not having any more children, but also… *gestures broadly at everything*
More specific to me info; we’ve got a one year old, we originally wanted 3-4 kids but definitely at least 2. My husband and I have jobs in different industries, but both ones that are seeing significant impacts but not in complete turmoil. We live in a red state and have been making plans to move to a blue one, but once again with everything going on we’re not sure when we’ll be able to make it happen.
