Lots of kids’ clothes are made from cheap fabrics that don’t last and don’t feel good. Not clothing from Hanna Andersson — for example, this dress is made from a cool, cotton/linen blend and lined with cotton voile.
This strappy, empire waist dress features a faux button front, twirly skirt, and pockets. The straps are even adjustable for a longer-lasting fit.
This dress is on sale for $41 (marked down from $68) and comes in three summery prints. It’s available in sizes 2-12.

I can’t stop thinking about Emilie Kiser. I have enjoyed her content for years and my heart is so broken for her family. I also have a 3 year old and I can’t imagine what her family is going through.
I have a kid who appears to have both a gift/aptitude and a strong desire to do dance (both ballet and tap). I’m always amazed at the breadth of people’s experiences in worlds that I previously knew nothing about (travel sports, music, etc.). So, lay it on me, what does this world look like? Any suggestions/tips/thoughts as we embark on this journey? My child is a boy, to the extent it matters.
Parents of food allergy kids, at what age did you start dropping off at play dates instead of staying? And do you make sure the parents of the kids you’re dropping off at know how and when to administer Epi?
Kiddo is still way too young to even consider it but is starting to do play dates and I know this conversation will come sooner or later.
Moms of older kids, when do you let them ride in the front seat? My kiddo is 10, and we have long said that he needs to be 13 to ride in the front seat. My state doesn’t have any laws on this but AAP says 4’9″ tall and 80 pounds, and he is there on height but not weight. The problem is several of our friends let their kids – some as young as 9, and definitely not meeting the height/weight standards – ride in the front seat. I expect it will be an increasing battle as he gets closer to 13. I don’t mind being an outlier but I am honestly surprised at how common it seems to be.
My 5 month old leaks in her diaper every night. I’ve already sized up, but wondering if there are any other tricks? I never had this issue with my older one, so I’m at a loss. I know its not a huge deal, but I’m getting tired of needing to wash her sleep sack every day!
Any baby stores having good deals right now for Memorial Day? I’d love 20% off on a car seat.
Why do some people turn their young kids (2-3) front-facing when they’re still well within the height and weight limits for rear? I know a handful of people who have done it with 2-year-olds who are on the small side. What’s the rationale? Is it easier to load them or something?
Has anyone made a conscious decision to not take long-haul flights and opt for travel closer to home? It is top of mind for me because my partner is from Asia and expects we will travel there from the states in the next couple of years as our kids have never been. I’ve done it in the past a few times solo, but I’m getting anxious every time I hear horror stories about increasing turbelence. I just…hate air travel and suck it up for mid-range distances (5-6 hours) but the idea of another 12-14 hour flight makes me feel sick to my stomach.
