clear acrylic rotating nail polish display stand with three tiers, designed to hold up to 117 bottles

I cannot count how many bottles of nail polish my sister has. But she can always find the one she needs with a rotating polish stand like this one.

This spinning, three-level rack has space for at least 60+ bottles of nail polish so you can keep your entire collection in one place. You can also use it to store other bottled cosmetics like foundation or perfume to free up precious counter space.

This rotating nail polish stand is available at Amazon for under $35.

How do you get the tiny rubber bands out of your child’s hair? I tried that little razor stick thing but I’m afraid it will cut her hair, not just the rubber band.

My 6 year is starting baseball next week and was curious what others bring to practice and games outside of equipment for their child. I’m planning to bring a bag with small snacks (trail mix, crackers, etc.), water bottle, first aid kit, sunscreen, etc., but wanted to know if there is something you found helpful. Thank you!

My 15 month old has started experimenting with putting her legs through the crib bars at night after we put her down, and sometimes she gets stuck in there and cries until we come get it out (which is quickly, obvs!). Is there a way to discourage her from doing this, or will she just learn not to over a few days? She is already in a sleep sack but it’s not tight enough to prevent this.

My oldest (just turned 11) hasn’t gained much weight in the last year and the pediatrician wants us to supplement with a shake or similar before bed. Any recommendations? right now DH is making homemade smoothies with peanut butter and protein powder and such, but for nights when he’s tied up or we’re out and about at sports?

Did anyone see the article in the NYT about how ACL tears are on the rise in teen girls even though there are apparently very strongly evidence-based exercises that can lessen the risk by 2/3? I have never even heard of that and apparently they’re not commonly used despite how effective they are. There’s also discussion of some of the usual (frustrating) issues we all know about, like girls’ cleats not being designed for girls’ feet and coaches being less likely to teach girls how to strength train. Very interesting story, especially because I’m a bit concerned about my knees after I had a lot of knee pain while breastfeeding and I’m definitely not back to my pre-pregnancy standard.. Apparently it has to do with relaxin. Gift link: https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/26/magazine/acl-tear-women-girl-sports.html?unlocked_article_code=1.PFA.0R9y.Mgb-0LOMXwT1&smid=url-share

Just venting: it sucks having a 4 year old who needs semiannual blood draws. Everyone says it gets easier as they get older because they get used to it, but I swear she’s just gotten stronger and louder.

Another school question – I was just catching up with a coworker I hadn’t seen in a while and she said that her son got in trouble with the truancy board in their state because he missed school for a tonsillectomy in December and then also missed one day that they tacked on for a family vacation. She looked at the school calendar for the month and literally every day was reserved for some sort of holiday celebration – popcorn day, early release tinsel day, movie days, and clearly no actual instruction. In what world is it ok to come down on a family for a necessary medical procedure when that’s all that’s being missed? I understand that it’s about funding but funding should be done differently.

In light of recent discussions- HOW do you determine if your child is receiving an appropriate education at school? My eldest is going to be entering Kindergarten this fall and we’re choosing to start at public school.
