Lice is a fact of life with kids. Shift the odds in your favor with Fairy Tales’ Rosemary Repel Conditioning Spray.
This leave-in conditioner strengthens and detangles hair with aloe, vitamin B5, and amaranth protein. At the same time, rosemary, citronella, tea tree, geranium, and peppermint oils repel unwanted guests.
This conditioning spray is $12.99 at Target.

Are all former litigators incredibly confrontational? I work with some and they seem to process information by automatically taking the position opposite of mine and then digging in their heels. How do you snap them out of advocacy mode and into collaboration mode?
Anyone have any cute kid stories to share? I could use some entertainment
Do these types of products actually work? I thought they were myths for the essential oil crowd.
I love this spray.
When we get lice alerts at school (I have 3 young girls) we go into ‘lice protocol’ which is always wearing braids and spraying this all over their hair (my kids love the scent – although I’m meh on rosemary/scents in general). We had a very long run of lice at daycare this spring and because of this my kids didn’t bring it home.
Then, when we do lice checks or lice comb through we spray hair with water, spray this on for extra slip, and use the nit free lice terminator comb.
If you have a rising kindergartner, I recommend just buying both now so you have them on hand …. (But if you get lice buy a chemical shampoo).
How on earth are other new moms walking around looking 100x as polished as I am? Where are they finding the time to be so fit and to find clothes that fit so well postpartum? I’m feeling like the frumpiest mom on the playground in the notoriously fit city I’m visiting (Boulder). Breastfeeding didn’t take the weight off, stopping breastfeeding didn’t either, and recovery has generally taken a long time. I’m not sure if my shape is going to change more and I’m hesitant to spend money on a lot of clothes. Sigh. I know everyone’s story is different but this kind of sucks.
We are spending 5 weeks this summer either having grandparents staying with us or us staying with grandparents. Part of this was planned but part of this is bc my dad is now staying with us for 2+ weeks after a surgery. We already had a trip scheduled to visit him and then my in laws and then literally the day after we get back from the trip my dad is coming back for a follow up. I know i probably sound like a brat, but that’s a lot of family time with no privacy and my kids aren’t the easiest these days and i hate parenting with an audience. Any advice on how to survive?
