My youngest loves The Three Little Pigs, so this pajamas and book set seems created just for him.
These snug, 100% cotton pajamas are printed with the same illustrations as the accompanying book so kids can coordinate with their favorite bedtime story. In addition to The Three Little Pigs, there are several other titles available, including Uni the Unicorn (a past favorite of my oldest) and some holiday options for next year.
This set from Books to Bed is $59 at Nordstrom and comes in sizes 2T to 8.

Any advice on brushing a toddler teeth? It’s a fight every night, and I feel like I’m not actually getting the majority of the teeth. Has anyone found a way that works?
Can parents of elementary-aged kids with ADHD talk about the most successful strategies they have used for emotional regulation with their kids? Specifically around frustration? Our 8 year-old has been struggling with managing feeling frustrated, specifically around working in team situations. She has been playing basketball at the community level, once a week practice, that sort of thing. When she gets frustrated, either with her own skills or the skills of others, she turns into an obstructive nightmare. Think slowing down drills and getting in the way of others, speaking rudely and generally being unkind to her teammates and coaches.
We’ve done a lot of talking about the feelings that are resulting in this behavior, but she’s very blame oriented (its teammates’ fault for not doing XYZ, coach’s rules are dumb, etc.) I’m not looking to be punishment oriented (there was already a discussion about what the consequences would be for the continued behavior so that is covered). I’m interested in any strategies you have successfully implemented to help teach your kids about emotional regulation in the moment. It’s hard (and sad for me!) to watch her carrying out these behaviors while also talking about how kids don’t like her, she can’t make friends etc.
Any Paris experts here today? We’re contemplating a trip in April, with the idea that we’d spend a couple of days at Disney while staying in the city. Which neighborhoods do you think are best for kids? We’re willing to stay outside the main tourist zones, and try to get that “Brooklyn” type of experience. If you have neighborhood and hotel recs, would love to hear them!
Ugh 7yo was sent home from school Wednesday for coughing and sneezing. Picked him up, kept him home yesterday, no fever, felt fine, seems like the cold his little siblings have. He went back to school today and I just got the call to pick him up again! Still no fever and told the nurse he feels fine.
I am sympathetic to the teacher, and mostly feel embarrassed because he did not seem to be coughing or gross at all this morning and I sent him on total good faith! But also ugghh for another mid-day dash to school.
We’re traveling (skiing) with another family over valentines and they seem like the type to do cute stuff for holidays. Any suggestions for things we could do to be valentines-y? Was thinking paper plates for that day and maybe pajamas?
Has anyone tried Art Therapy? I am very much struggling right now as a member of the sandwich generation (taking care of little kids and my aging parents). I am very curious about it and I feel like taping into my creative side would be very healing!
Low stakes question, is it important that birthday invites are given to everyone the same day? My daughter brought in invites to her class and some aftercare friends yesterday and is planning to invite some more friends when she sees them this weekend. The kids all know each other. I don’t think it’s a big deal for the invites to be slightly staggered (the party is more than 3 weeks away, so I don’t think anyone would think they’re a “B list” guest) but my mom got in my head about it and told me I should text the other moms asap, so the other friends don’t get hurt feelings.
