I just wanted to make a comment on the blog about working mothers managing kids extra curricular activities. I am a mom with 10 y/o and 2 y/0. My son needs extra help with reading and English. He has difficult time that he starts crying so I physically have to sit with him to help him. Then he gets out at 4. Luckily his school only leaves him 1 sheet per day and 30min of reading. I also try to take him to basket ball practice 1x a week .My baby girl is too young so no school thank God. I feel like I just can’t get in alignment with his school activities such as meetings and important dates. I work gy shift part time. On Christmas celebration I almost forgot to get his things ready. Do I need a schedule and prioritize the most important school dates so I can particiate? I don’t know how to do this. I’ve been working full time and attending school for the past 10 years. What tips can you provide?
