Five baby bodysuits in three blues, a mustard yellow, and green

Babies make so much laundry. So, buying bodysuits by the pack is the way to go.

These bodysuits come in solid colors so they’re easy to mix and match. Made from soft, organic cotton, they have an expandable neck for easy on and off, and snap bottoms for quick diaper changes.

A five-pack of Butterblu’s onesies is $34.99 at Nordstrom. Five color combinations, including the pictured “terra,” are available in sizes newborn to 24M.

Do you put up indoor decorations for Halloween? I would if we had a big house with lots of storage space, but we live in a small house with little storage space that is mostly filled with Xmas decor. Wondering if the effort of putting up, taking down and storing Halloween and fall decorations indoors is worth it.

Just a quick rant, I do love my MIL. I would consider myself very lucky in this department of life. I do appreciate and love her, but she has changed over the last year and has become increasingly negative/hard to be around. I understand we all go through phases of life, so I try to be understanding. However, recently, she has taken a huge interest in attempting to dictate who we hang out with and what we do with our free time. For instance, she will offer to watch the kids so we can hang out with XYZ specific person and do XYZ specific event. If we say “no”, because we have other plans, she grumbles and tries to guilt trip us about not making time for “important things”. It is beyond maddening! Anyone else deal with this? For reference, we do make time for these “important things”, but on our own terms and as our schedule allows.

How long after giving birth can you get postpartum depression? My baby just turned 6 months, so maybe it’s something else? Anyways, ever since I went back to work a few weeks ago, I feel like I’ve had a very short fuse and responds to some things with an irrational level of rage. I’m not worried I’m going to hurt my baby, she is the one thing I don’t get mad at. But I have overreacted to my DH sometimes.

Any good books to explain elementary math concepts? we’ve realised there are tons of gaps in my husband’s knowledge of very basic concepts. I read that HNJ article and felt a sense of recognition since he apparently skirted through life innumerate.

Two questions about dealing with a 3 year old.

First, what tricks do you have for hiding your frustration when they are having a tantrum? I haven’t been good about not letting my frustration show and I need to find a better way to deal with them.

Second, any advice for when your 3 year old objects to you doing things for your baby? Like, I’ll put dinner out for the 3 year old and sit at the table with her to feed the baby and the 3 year old will keep screaming don’t feed the baby. I solo parent a lot, so it’s not like we can divide and conquer.
