I’m usually not a skirt person, but if I were expecting, this pleated midi skirt would definitely be in my closet.
This sophisticated pleated skirt has an elastic waistband that sits comfortably over your bump. Set off this skirt’s delicate floral pattern with a simple knit or elevated tee. Top with an A-line coat as the weather cools.
Ripe Maternity’s Florence Floral Pleated Maternity Skirt is $95 at Nordstrom and comes in XS-XXL.

Any anecdata about how quickly antibiotics work for ear infections? My 9 year old has one for the first time in 5+ years and we’re on vacation out of the country. Due to difficulties accessing care here we only started antibiotics yesterday, which was day 3 of pain, but she’s been on the antibiotics for 24 hours and what I remember from toddlerhood is that there was usually marked improvement by the 24 hour mark, even though the internet says it may take 48-72 hours to help. Advil helps somewhat (Tylenol doesn’t touch it) but when the Advil wears off she’s still in agony and we’re supposed to fly home tomorrow morning. I’m really not sure how she can fly in this condition.
do you have glasses you love? comfortable, stay on your face when exercising, hold up to being bumped and grabbed by babies?
My 15-year-old Silhouettes have finally bit it and I hate all of the Zenni, Warby Parker, etc. that I’ve tried.
When you write an email and open with Good morning or Good afternoon, do you capitalize the first letter in Morning and Afternoon? I do, and even though I know it’s probably grammatically incorrect I can’t not capitalize them. It just looks weird to me.
Appreciate the post. I’ve never had Columbus / Indigenous Peoples’ Day off throughout my career and it’s nice not to feel alone in this! Luckily my husband has it off and can be with the kids (one of the very rare days our daycare is closed).
