Even though the calendar says September, it’s still shorts weather here in D.C. These knit shorts remind me of old school gym shorts (without the gym part).

These lightweight shorts are soft and stretchy thanks to a touch of spandex. They also feature a longer five-inch inseam, front side pockets, and a high drawstring waist. While the weather is still warm, I’d wear them with my favorite graphic tee. Once it cools, I’ll add a sporty sweatshirt or cozy sweater.
