[apologies for the delayed post — we were having some tech problems this morning]
Does this cool girls’ bomber jacket come in my size?
Made from a lightweight “Crinkle Shine” fabric, this bomber from Athleta Girl is the perfect fall layer. The textured collar is a fun touch.
Your kid can wear it alone when the weather is cool only in the morning, and add a layer underneath once the leaves start to fall.
The Roam Around Bomber is $85 and comes in agave (a light green) and black. It’s available in sizes XS/6 to XXL/16.

I am really angry with my teen. He seems to be in the f*ck around and find out stage, and he’s been making a series of stupid choices that will have consequences in a school activity moving forward. Not drugs, drinking, or anything like that, but still. It is infuriating to watch him squander opportunities because he just can’t help himself.
That is all. It’s just hard to watch.
I have a middle schooler, and our family is new to the world of travel sports. We have upcoming tournaments that are about 75-minute drive from home, 2 hours drive from home, and 8 hours drive from home (or expensive flight). For those of you with kids who play travel sports, do you stay overnight for tournaments within a couple hours from home? For overnight stays, is it expected to stay in the same hotels as your team or do families make whatever accommodations work best for them? (I see that there are group rates and some minimum # of stays per team, but I’m not sure how well enforced this is and/or how much we’d stick out if we did our own thing.) Lastly, any advice on an 8 hour drive versus flying?
How is it the last weekend of September? What is everyone up to this weekend?
My mom is visiting for 9 days (which is great, because as my child explained “We’re surviving, not thriving) and my mom is a great help. We are meeting friends at the harvest festival near our house tomorrow for apple tasting and cider making. And T and my mom are putting the final touches on his Halloween costume.
