My sister always has the best manicure — after her last visit to the salon, she absolutely raved about Dazzle Dry!
With this system, you can give yourself a long-lasting, salon-worthy manicure at home. The system includes nail prep, base coat, the lacquer of your choice, top coat, and revive. This polish dries quickly and lasts seven days or more, no UV lamp needed. My sister said hers lasted so long she finally had to remove it because her nails were growing out.
Dazzle Dry’s Build Your Own System Kit is on sale for $80 (down from $100).

What is everyone doing for mother’s day?
I think this year, I’m going to take the morning by myself to sleep in, go for a hike, grab a fancy coffee and then something with my son (5) and husband in the afternoon.
Still debating if we are going to try to see my mom (1 hour drive) on saturday
at what age did your same-sex child stop seeing their same sex-parent unclothed and at what age did your same-sex child want you to stop seeing them unclothed? and what about opposite sex?
Our preschool is in a large church, which is a building that I would think is at least 100 years old. Parents were notified that there would be renovations in areas of the church, but not that there would be asbestos removal. Apparently asbestos removal is occurring in an area near a classroom. My friend’s son is in that classroom and is really upset. (My son goes to the same school but a different classroom.). She is pulling her son out of the classroom immediately. I am surprised that the preschool didn’t notify parents about the asbestos removal or move the classroom temporarily. This is considered a high-quality preschool and they are usually on top of this stuff. Also, I would think there would be some state licensing requirements about this sort of thing. Does asbestos removal that occurs down the hallway from a classroom pose a health risk to kids? My friend said that the preschool director was dismissive of the concern.
We felt our first direct impact of the tariffs over the weekend. My oldest is really into 3D printing, and a piece of his 3D printer broke. The manufacturer of the printer is located in China and their website would not directly sell/ship to our address in the US. (I ordered the printer directly from the manufacturer two years ago.) Going through Amazon, the price was well over double, exactly 145% more, in fact. It came out of my son’s allowance, and he ranted about the tariffs for the rest of the weekend.
Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend!
I was using this new Lysol for black mold product on our shower this morning, and I was reading the instructions. There are warning labels for what to do if you breathe it in. The thing I am wondering about is that, even when you wear a mask, you will necessarily breathe in some spray. I am thinking we are not going to use this bleach-containing spray any more. I opened the windows and turned on the fan, too.
How do you all clean your showers? And do any of you use bleach-containing sprays? How do you feel about it?
Thank you!
I am a Dazzle Dry convert. I add the ridge filler, but contrary to the directions I put only one layer of base coat underneath and skip the layer of base coat on top of the ridge filler. The brushes on the mini bottles are tiny and difficult to use, so you will really only get the full effect if you try the full-sized versions.
Posted on the main site as well since it takes so long to go through mod here, but: what’s a good twin sized mattress? We’re upgrading from the crib.
May is always such an insanely busy month. Hopefully everyone is hanging in there!
