I love finding beautifully designed yet practical items, like this wine rack.
This sculptural wine rack looks great on its own. Make it look better by filing it with four of your favorite vinos. It would also be a great housewarming or wedding gift for the wine lovers in your life.
This wine rack is $150 at Nordstrom.

Does anyone have fun election night ideas or traditions with your kids? My kids are old enough now (9 and 7) to learn about the electoral college and the older one will enjoy watching some of the coverage as results come in. My ideas so far:
Special/fun dinner we would all enjoy and a red, white and blue dessert to serve as a jumping off point for talking about why voting is a precious right. DH is an immigrant and has a neat perspective on this.
Letting them stay up a little later than usual to watch results come in.
Coming up with some kind of electoral map they can color as states are called.
Any other ideas?
For those who celebrate Christmas: Now that Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is on the horizon… When do you decorate your house for Xmas?
